Everything in Joyn works on the web, but most members live in the app.
Install it
Search for Joyn in the App Store or Google Play, or use the links on getjoyn.io/download. Sign in with the same email and password as on the web and your spaces are already there.
Push notifications
Allow notifications when the app asks, or turn them on later under your profile and Push notifications. You get a push for new messages in your channels, new events, event reminders and invitations.
Your calendar and Joyn's, together
Open the events calendar and tap the filter. Under Device calendars you can tick your phone's own calendars, and their events appear in the grid next to the Joyn ones. Nothing is copied anywhere; the app just reads your calendar.
Add an event to your phone's calendar
Open an event and tap Add to calendar. It adds that one occurrence to the calendar you pick. For a repeating event, add each occurrence you want rather than expecting a series. See Repeating events.
Appearance
The app follows your phone's light or dark setting. Override it under your profile and Appearance.
Updates
The app updates itself in the background most of the time. If something looks out of date, close the app fully and open it again, or check the store for a newer version.
