Weekly training, a monthly board meeting, choir every Thursday: create it once and let it repeat.
Set a repeat
- Create or edit the event and click Repeat.
- Choose Every and then Week or Month. The event repeats on the same weekday, or the same day of the month, as the start date.
- Set Repeat until to give the series an end date. Leave it empty for a series that keeps going.
The event list shows the next occurrence of each series, so a weekly practice appears once, not fifty-two times.
Answering a repeating event
Each occurrence has its own RSVP. Answering Going for this week does not answer for next week, so people can say yes to the sessions they will actually attend.
Stopping a series
Edit the event and click Remove repeat. The current event stays; future occurrences are no longer created.
Calendars on your phone
On the mobile app, Add to calendar adds the single occurrence you are looking at, not the whole series. Add each one you want, or subscribe to the space's events in the calendar filter instead. See Get the mobile app.
