On your website
Events, news and a way to join, read live from your space and shown on the site you already have. One piece of code, pasted once. After that, nobody writes anything twice.
Three embeds
Each is its own piece of code, so a club can put events on the front page, news on the members page and the join card in the sidebar.

Join card
Your name, member count and one button. An invitation-only space says so instead of sending people to a button that will not work.
How to
No plugin, no account for your web editor, nothing to update later.
01
Turn on your public page.
Under Edit space. Events and the join card show what the public page shows. The news embed only needs a public announcement channel.
02
Pick and copy.
Under Website in space settings, choose events, news or the join card, set the language and colors, and press Copy code. The preview is the real thing.
03
Paste it into your site.
In an HTML block where it should appear. The frame grows to fit its content, so you never set a height.
What you paste
<iframe src="https://getjoyn.io/embed/c/fjordby-roklub/events" title="Fjordby Roklub on Joyn" loading="lazy" style="width:100%;border:0" height="374"> </iframe> <script>/* lets the frame grow with its content */</script>
The script line is optional. Without it the frame keeps a sensible fixed height.
Make it yours
Everything you can change sits on one row above the preview.
Danish or English
The embed's own words. Event names and places are yours and stay as written.
Three, five or ten
How many events or posts to show. The rest wait behind "See all".
Light, dark or match the visitor
Follows your site, or each visitor's own setting.
Join button on or off
On the events list. The join card is the button.
All news or one channel
Everything public, or only the team's channel on the team's page.
The frame tells the page around it how tall it is, so a long post or a quiet month never leaves a gap or a scrollbar.
Where it works
The code is a plain frame, the same kind of thing as a YouTube video or a Facebook widget. If your site can take one of those, it can take this.
Running your club on Klubmodul? There is a page on how Joyn sits next to it.
Joyn + Klubmodul โRunning your club on Conventus? There is a page for that too.
Joyn + Conventus โGood to know
Said here, so nobody finds out later.
Only public things show.
Members-only events, channels and files never reach the site. You decide what is public, event by event and channel by channel.
Nobody signs in inside the frame.
Every button opens Joyn in a new tab. That keeps the frame working in every browser, including the strict ones.
The frame is not what Google finds.
Search engines skip the embed itself. On paid plans your public page and events are indexed on Joyn instead.
There is no fee for it.
The website code is in every plan, including the free one.
No. The frame loads after the rest of your page and shows a handful of items.
You pick light, dark or match the visitor. Fonts and colors inside the frame are Joyn's, so it reads the same everywhere.
The frame says so in one friendly line, and the join button stays.
No. News only needs a public announcement channel. Events and the join card need the public page.
Not yet. Every public event has its own page on Joyn you can link to, and the events list links there too.
The frame still shows, at a fixed height that fits the number of items you chose. Only the automatic resizing needs the script.
Create your space, turn on the public page and see your first event on your website tonight.
