You join a space by invitation. There are three ways one can reach you.
From a link
Open the link. If you are not signed in, Joyn asks you to sign in or create an account first, then brings you back to the invitation. You see who invited you and which space it is for. Click Accept invite and you are in.
From a code
Sometimes an organiser shares a short code rather than a link.
- Sign in and open the space list.
- Click Join a space. You will find it in the menu behind your profile picture too.
- Paste the code under Invitation link and confirm.
From an email
An emailed invitation works like a link: open it, sign in or sign up with the same email address it was sent to, and accept.
The invite has expired
Invitations have an expiry chosen by the person who made them. If yours has run out, ask the organiser for a new one. They can create it in seconds from People and Invite to space.
Already a member?
If you are signed in with an account that is already in the space, the link simply opens the space.
