Joyn + Conventus
Over 3,000 Danish clubs run members, fees, bookings and accounts in Conventus. Keep doing that. Joyn is where members talk, RSVP and hear about what happens. And what you write in Joyn can sit on your Conventus website without anyone writing it twice.
Division of labour
Conventus is built to administer. Joyn is built to gather. You do not have to choose, and nothing has to move.

News that reaches everyone, not only those who read the newsletter
Files, to-dos and an app everyone already knows how to use
Conventus sends the newsletter. Joyn is where people answer.
How to
Three steps. None of them needs anyone technical.
01
Create your space on Joyn and invite the members.
Make a link or a code and send it in your next newsletter or email from Conventus. Members sign up in a minute, in the app or in a browser.
02
Make public what may be seen from outside.
Turn on the public page, make your events public, and make one announcement channel public, say "Club news". Everything else stays members-only.
03
Paste the code into your Conventus site.
Under Website in Joyn, pick what to show and copy one piece of code. Paste it into a code block where it should appear. Cannot find one? Ask whoever set up your site.
On your website
Your site always shows the latest, because it reads it from Joyn. No double work, no stale posts.
Upcoming events
Your next events with date, place and how many are coming. Each opens its own page where people register, members or not.
News
The latest posts from your public channel. Write in Joyn and the site follows. Who wrote a post is never shown.
Join
Your name, member count and a button. Fits a sidebar, or your "Become a member" page next to the fee.
Club websites made by Conventus are built on WordPress, and the code is plain HTML, like a Facebook widget. It goes in the same kind of code block Conventus uses for its own widgets, like the team list. The frame grows with its content, and shows in light or dark, or follows each visitor's own setting.

Good to know
We would rather say it here than let you find out.
Members are not moved automatically.
Conventus has no open api we can use, so Joyn cannot read your member list. You invite with a link or a code and members join themselves. A minute per member and one email from you.
Fees, bookings and tickets stay in Conventus.
Joyn does not collect fees, book halls or sell tickets. Public events in Joyn take free registrations; anything you charge for stays in Conventus.
Your Conventus website stays where it is.
Joyn gives it content, not a new address.
No. Conventus administers, Joyn gathers. You keep both.
To write in channels and RSVP to members-only events, yes. To read the website or register for a public event, no.
Joyn is free to start and the website code is in every plan. On paid plans your public page and events can also be found on Google.
Joyn works in a browser too, and a public channel can be read on your website without an account. The important things get through either way.
Yes, if the team's news lives in a public channel. Pick the channel under Website and paste the code on the team's page.
Create your space today and see your first event on the website tonight.
