I didn't get the verification or invitation email

Where to look, how to resend, and what to do when the link says it is invalid.

Last updated September 28, 2026

Joyn sends a handful of emails: the verification code when you sign up, the reset link when you forget your password, invitations, and the weekly digest. If one has not arrived, work down this list.

1. Give it a minute and check spam

Email usually lands within a minute. Look in spam or junk and search for Joyn. If it is there, mark it as not spam so the next one lands in your inbox.

2. Resend it

The page you were on can send it again. Under Didn't receive the email? click Click to resend. This works for the verification code on sign-up and the password reset link.

3. Check the address

A typo in the address is the most common cause. On sign-up, go back and check what you typed. If the account was created with the wrong address, sign in and use Change email in your profile to fix it; the code goes to the new address. See Your profile, emails and notifications.

The link says it is invalid

Verification and reset links can only be used once and expire. If you see Your email verification link is invalid, sign in and request a new one from the same place; the page offers Login and send a new one.

Invitation emails

An invitation is sent by the person who invited you, not by you, so you cannot resend it yourself. Ask them to send it again from People and Invite to space, or to share the invite code instead. If the invitation has expired, they need to make a new one. See Join a space with an invitation.

Still nothing

Some work and school mail systems block new senders. Try a personal address, or ask your IT department to allow mail from getjoyn.io. If it is still missing, contact us with the address you used.
