Answering
Open the event and choose Going or Not going. You can change your answer until the event starts, or until the Registration deadline if the organiser set one.
Answers are visible to everyone in the space or group the event belongs to, so people can see who else is coming.
Inviting specific people
An event is already visible to everyone in its space or group. To make sure particular people see it, open the event's menu and click Invite to event, then pick them. They get a notification and show as Invited in the list until they answer.
For organisers
The people list on the event page splits into those going, those not going, and those invited who have not answered yet.
To nudge the quiet ones, open the event's menu and choose the option to send a push notification. Write a short message; it goes to everyone the event is for on the mobile app.
Reminders
Joyn sends automatic reminders before events on the mobile app, and everyone gets a Weekly digest email on Monday morning with the week's events across their spaces. People can turn the digest off in their profile under Emails.
After the event
Once the start time passes the event is marked as ended and answers are locked. It moves out of the upcoming list but stays in the space, so the description and the people list are still there next year.
